Procrastination is putting off until another time, (later, tomorrow, next year…) what you can do right now.
There is a Procrastinators Club of America. You don’t hear about it much because they keep putting off advertising it.
Procrastination robs you.
- steals your time…
- robs you of your self-respect and the respect of others.
- costs people their jobs, businesses their profits,
- shuts out opportunities for a bright future whenever it becomes a pattern.
Procrastination restricts you.
Every time you "put off" things, you are held back from the prize.
William Shakespeare wrote, In delay there lies no plenty.
Procrastination makes you restless.
Much of the stress that people feel doesn’t come from having too much to do. It comes from not finishing what they started. - David Allen
What “tasks or actions” are you most tempted to procrastinate on?
What goals have you had forever but not taken the first step toward?
What difficult decision have you been delaying?
Let's put off procrastination and get started now!
The Adventure continues ….
